As part of the Schneider Electric group's Environmental Policy, BCV Technologies has made being exemplary when it comes to respecting the environment, particularly in the prevention of pollution, a priority for 2006.
Our environmental actions cover all our internal activities and we are also keen to meet external requests such as those of suppliers, customers, neighbours or authorities.
Our progress targets
Continuous improvement of the environmental system
Reduction in the quantity of waste produced
Special waste: varnish, resin, etc.
Usual waste: wood, miscellaneous metals, paper, cardboard, etc.
Ensuring everyone has a sense of responsibility
Increasing the effectiveness of waste treatment and risk substance elimination
Since 1 July 2006, all our products comply with European directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS).
An Environmental Management System, based on ISO 14001-2004, has been set-up to meet these targets.

Something tangible
We have carried out actions to identify, measure, treat and limit:
our atmospheric discharges: VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) study
our liquid discharges: waterway discharge agreement signed with the town council
our audible pollution
Our waste is sorted and over 80% is recycled
We have undertaken the following for our establishment:
an ATEX zone classification to identify potential explosion risk zones
the creation of an "asbestos" technical file confirming our premises do not contain any asbestos
a preliminary lightning protection study
